Last week, we launched our new competition. In keeping with the goals of Se|eme: bringing together all the great looks John Goodwin sees day in day out we thought it’d be a good idea to spot the best dressed people, give them a little gift and say “we like what we see”.
If you weren't already in the know John Goodwin is now at Royal Windsor Racecourse where every Monday between the months of April and October thousands of people come to watch the races. We're pleased to see so many well dressed people turn up but we want to see even more over the next few months. Use the Se|eme blog as inspiration and start thinking about what you'll wear to your next social event this summer.
So, how does the competition work? When you next come to the Windsor Racecourse you might spot me walking around with a camera in hand snapping away as people pass by. If you're snapped that means you're in the running for that day’s competition. We review all the photos during the race meeting and choose the top best dressed people (up to 5).
The winners are announced at Windsor Racecourse at the end of the day as well as on the Se|eme blog the following day when we post the pictures. You'll see the winners and a handful of others that also caught our attention. The prize for each of the winners is a John Goodwin Personal Tailoring gift voucher and the satisfaction their outfit caught our imagination and made us look.
So, have a look now - the winners of the first competition are online and you might be one of them. If you spot yourself under the winners section be sure to contact us and we’ll send you your prize. You can telephone 01753 362241 or 01753 866116 or email email@example.comEnjoy what you see…
Last year John Goodwin tried something new: moving its atelier from Windsor town centre and relocating to Royal Windsor Racecourse. It's been well received and John Goodwin is now pleased to announce the Racecourse is its permanent new home.
Along with this news it also announces the new atelier has undergone a makeover these past few weeks. It’s now fully set up to deliver the Personal Tailoring service. The room is full of fabrics and also samples of the six key looks for the season - which represent just a tiny fraction of the countless styles available through Personal Tailoring.
The atelier overlooks the finishing post of the racetrack - perfect for watching the races. But the atelier doesn't just operate during the races - it’s open throughout the week and throughout the year.
The idea behind the atelier is create a space dedicated to Personal Tailoring in a relaxed setting. The Racecourse is perfect for this. For most of the week the backdrop is a tranquil green with views over the track, the river and Eton Wick in the distance. However, every Monday the place changes into a hub of activity when thousands come to watch the races and we’re right in the centre, with a perfect vantage point from the atelier’s first floor balcony to watch the horses cross the finish line.
If you’d like to come and see for yourself give Dan a call on 01753 866116 or email firstname.lastname@example.org More information on the atelier can be found here and on the Windsor Racecourse website.
All the best,
In keeping with John Goodwin’s Grey’s Club service, we bring to you this unusual and new way of shopping. For one day only you can preview John Goodwin garments that will be on general release this autumn.
Retailers up and down the country buy their autumn stock from their suppliers now, six months prior to the season starting. All retailers buy a relatively narrow selection from the huge array of styles available from their supplier. That’s the nature of retailing.
So, John Goodwin has thought why not give you a preview of this huge selection, rather than choosing on your behalf and restricting the choice. So, browse the entire collection for one day only; select and reserve your garment now, safe in the knowledge it is being made to order and it is exactly the one you want. This kind of service is available when ordering things like a new car, so why not treat clothes in the same way? All that is left to do is look forward to the autumn when you collect your custom made knitwear. So, if you want to see the whole thing, the entire collection is available to preview this Saturday 4th April at John Goodwin’s atelier at Royal Windsor Racecourse, Maidenhead Road, Windsor SL4 5JJ. The coffee with be flowing and Dan will be there to show you everything available.
