John Goodwin is the resident tailor at Royal Windsor Racecourse. Located in the old Director’s Box overlooking the finishing post, John Goodwin provides a gentleman's Personal Tailoring service from its atelier, creating suits, jackets, trousers, waistcoats, overcoats and shirts.
Why called an atelier? Atelier is like a studio, and a term used by tailors whose focus is creating and making something unique every time. At John Goodwin the garment is made specifically for you; no two garments are the same.
This specialised tailoring service usually consists of two to three fittings and takes around eight weeks. Virtually everything in the garment can be customised, from the pattern of the cloth and lining to the colour of the buttons. The focus is on quality and choice, merging traditional tailoring techniques with your own personal styling.
If you’ve ever wanted to experience a tailoring service which you can’t find in conventional shops the John Goodwin atelier experience is worth trying. You might have an idea about the style you want or you might prefer John Goodwin provides you with new ideas - either way the service is sure to give you a garment that’s beautifully made and impeccably styled.
