Like all of Personal Tailoring, lots of attention goes into the John Goodwin coat - from the fabric and lining from mills including Loro Piana, Scabal and Holland & Sherry, the styling options down to colour of stitching and of course the measurements so the coats fits you - all making the John Goodwin coat a uniquely personal experience.
Choose from hundreds of fabrics - from basic wool through to prestige cashmere, vicuna and double-faced woolen fabrics, choose your styling - single or double breasted, button or fly front fastening, both the Black Label and White Label coats are made to exacting standards seen throughout Personal Tailoring.
Start with the overall style - if you want a softer, more ‘Italian’ garment chose Black Label. If you are interested in a classically ‘English’, Savile Row looking garment choose White Label. Below are some line drawings to illustrate these main differences.
Below are drawings of White Label coats showing some of the different styling options including (from left to right) Single-breasted Fly-front, Single-breasted Button-front and Double-breasted Button-front.
